The final Top Ten listings for the 2010 Short-Course Yards season have been published, and as usual the swimmers in our LMSC performed very well. The SCY season runs from June 1 of the previous year through May 31 of the current year. Some highlights of the SCY10 season:
110 individual swims were posted — including six #1 swims — were posted by 31 swimmers representing 4 different clubs (CFYM, QMST, URMS, VMST), while 27 relays from VMST were ranked in the top ten, including six top-ranked relays.
The Mythical National Championships page has been updated to include the SCY10 season. Our LMSC placed 14th (out of 49); VMST’s point total was the 13th highest club score in the country, and the 4th-highest point total for local clubs. An impressive showing!
There were 83 new LMSC records set during the SCY10 season; 14 of the swims were also new Colonies Zone records and 7 of the swims were under the previously-published USMS national records!
