The award is named after an extremely active volunteer from the Connecticut LMSC.
Dave certainly embodies the spirit of this award. He is currently in his second 2-year term as LMSC Secretary, and has agreed to serve a third term. He is the long-time race director of the Chris Greene Lake Swim, including several years in which the race served as the national championship for the 2-mile cable swim. Dave has twice organized a USMS booth at the Monument Ave 10K Expo, and also organized the recent Jim Montgomery Adult Swim Clinic for masters coaches and swimmers.
