Mark your calendars! Chris Greene Lake, the Charlottesville, VA, home of one of the longest-running open water events in the country, usually holds its annual cable swims on the second Saturday of July and this year is no different. This year there will be 1- and 2-mile open water cable swim races on July 9, 2011. Virginia Masters Swim Team (VMST) is the event host.
