Results are now available for the Jim McDonnell Lake 1-Mile and 2-Mile races. On a weekend where the weather cooperated, there were 808 total swims with 350 competitors in the 2-mile and 290 in the 2-mile on Sunday, May 29. A total of 168 swimmers participated in the clinic and 1-mile practice swim on Saturday, May 28.

Links to the results have been added to the website, including links to the award winners for the 1-mile and 2-mile swims. Our LMSC was well represented in the events, with 63 swimmers representing 6 clubs — LAMS, RCA, SUNF, VMST, WAVA and WMS — or swimming unattached. Open water stalwarts Rob Jones (UNAT) and Kelly Parker Palace (VMST) were the fastest male and female finishers, of any age, in the non-wetsuit division of both races!
