The first-ever Potomac River Sharkfest (May 22) has been added. This is a 3-km swim across the Potomac River from Newburg, Maryland to King George, VA, parallel to the Harry Nice (301) bridge. Online registration closes soon (May 19 at 11:59pm) but race-day registration is possible.
The Centennial Lake Swim (Aug 7) has been added. This is a 1-mi swim in Elliot City, MD. There are no paper entries, but online registration (deadline Aug 5) will be available soon.
Entry forms and more information are now available for the Hickory Nut Gorge Olympiad (Aug 28) open water swims. These are 1- and 2-mi swims in Lake Lure, NC. It is part of a 3-day family sports festival. Deadline for mail entries is Aug 20.
Paper entry forms for USMS Summer Nationals (Aug 3-6) in Auburn, AL, are now available. Online entry (preferred) will be available soon; deadline for entry is June 29.
