Results from the 2012 USMS Summer Nationals are now available. A small contingent of 10 LMSC swimmers — 9 from VMST and 1 UNAT — swam at the pool in Omaha that had just been used for the US Olympic Trials.
Though a small group, these 10 swimmers made their presence felt. Adam Barley, Betsy Durrant, and Beth Schreiner each won at least one national championship, while Adam, Betsy, Beth, Dave Holland, Ralph Hellman, Sandy Galletly and Tom Woods made their mark by setting at least one new LMSC record. Twelve new records, 11 individual and 1 relay, were set in all; they are listed in the table below.
