Recovery By Chocolate

Lately chocolate milk has been receiving a lot of attention as a recovery drink. And why not? It is readily available and not as expensive as many of the drinks that are formulated specifically for recovery. And who doesn’t want to reward themselves for a hard workout with some chocolatey goodness?

But how does it really compare to other drinks for recovery? Swimming Science recently reviewed the evidence comparing the merits of chocolate milk to various formulated drinks.
