Recent Record-Setting Swims
The table below lists the LMSC records that were set in the past three complete seasons. (Note: SCY season begins June 1, while SCM and LCM seasons begin Jan 1.)
- Individual records: 163 new LMSC records were set, of which 12 were also national and/or world records
- Relay records: 19 LMSC records were set, of which 7 were also national and/or world records

Colonies Zone Records
Along with nine other LMSCs, Virginia is a member of the Colonies Zone; lists of Zone records are maintained for short-course yards, short-course meters, and long-course meters. At this time (June 2010), swimmers from our LMSC own 179 of these records.
Recent USMS Top Ten Listings by LMSC Swimmers
Every year, swimmers from the Virginia LMSC place well in the national rankings, with numerous All-Americans (#1 in the country in at least one event) and even occasional All-Stars (ranked #1 overall in the nation in their age group).
