Marie Kelleher Breaks Barrier
Marie Kelleher established new national records in the 50 and 100 free at the Virginia Senior Games on May 12, 2012. With these swims she becomes the first female USMS member to compete in the 100-104 age group.
Season Wrap-Up for SCY 2011
The final USMS Top 10 lists have been published for the 2011 SCY season. The season was marked by many great performances by our LMSC: check out the newly-ranked swims, the new records, and our great performance in the Mythical National Championship.

The LMSC records set in the 2010 short-course meters (SCM10) season have been posted.
3000/6000 Yard Postal Championships
Results have been posted for the 3000 and 6000 yard postal national championships. Three LMSC members participated, winning several national championship crowns and setting one new national record.
Chris Greene Lake Results Posted
VMST hosted the USMS 2-mile Cable National Championship on July 10 at Chris Greene Lake, Charlottesville, VA. The official results have been added to the website, and the race was featured in an entry of competitor Rob Dumouchel’s blog, RobAquatics.
