Things got a little crazy in March, with four different meets within driving distance of our LMSC.
Two new meets have been uploaded to the Upcoming Events page: the WAVA Dreaming of Spring and the SPIRE Masters Winter Classic meets.
Results from the First Annual Anything Goes Relay Carnival have been posted!
On October 16, Warrenton Masters and Reston Masters will co-host the Anything Goes SCY Relay Carnival in Warrenton, VA. It is a relay-only meet with some oddball events in the mix: sounds like fun!
The efforts of Warrenton Masters (WAVA) and coach Charlie Tupitza in hosting the first USMS/ASCA Masters Level I and II swim coach certification class justifiably have been receiving attention and praise.

Information about entering the Sunbelt Championships (Jan 29-30, Charlotte, NC), the Tropical Splash (Jan 30, Alexandria, VA); the David Gregg III Memorial Meet (Feb 12-13, Richmond, VA); and the Dreaming of Spring meet (Mar 6, Warrenton, VA).
The Colonies Zone LCM Championship was held in College Park, MD on Aug 21-22. There were 38 swimmers from our LMSC entered, representing 4 different clubs: QMST (1), SHYM (1), UNAT (2), VMST (30), WAVA (4). The unofficial results have been uploaded.
Did you notice? In the August 2010 issue of StreamLines, the USMS electronic newsletter, the “Really Cool Website of the Month” was awarded to…none other than our very own Warrenton Masters Swim Team! Congratulations to Coach Charlie and the rest of the WAVA crew.
